CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are done in office to encourage shedding of the dead cells in the top layer of the skin and regeneration of new healthier skin.

Peels are used to improve conditions such as:

Acne

Blemishes

Uneven tone

Extremely dry skin

Stretch marks

Melasma

An initial consultation is first done to assess the skin then specific treatment is prescribed for the patient to use so as to prepare the skin for the chemical peel. Not all skin types do well with peeling, in some the peel may actually worsen the condition. Therefore this pre peel assessment is very important.
