Another anti-ageing treatment is Botox. Botox injections relax the facial muscles improving lines and wrinkles on the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows, and ‘crows feet’ around the eyes. The full effect is not seen until 4-5 days after application and requires follow up treatments every 4-6 months.
For patients with moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, both Botox and Dermal Filler may be necessary for best results.
While the HA fillers are directed into the lines, Botox is placed in the surrounding muscles relaxing the expressive muscles. Once applied properly it is safe and very effective.
